Sierra FC has failed to win their third successive match in the ongoing Division Two league organized by Western Area Football Association (WAFA) played on Friday 2nd April with both teams putting on a very good performance. Sierra FC took the lead in the fourth minute of play from Abdul Kassim Turay from the penalty Spot. After the goal Sierra FC look desperate and created many scoring chances that should have increase the score line but the attackers failed to score. During the second half it was a ding dong battle as both teams played to secure all three points, but Goderich were able to get the equalizer and they were looked like the team that would secure all three points. Before the match Coach Kendol Decker President & Technical Director of Aspen Hill Soccer Club based in USA was very supportive to Sierra FC to take them to camp by providing them food and water they needed. The Technical Director of Sierra FC Coach Sam Ngobeh apologized to the Management and fans after failing to win and promised that they will try and win the next match. According to reports from analysts who witnessed the match said it was the two best teams in the group that have clashed and it was the best match so far that has been played. Sierra FC are now in second position with seven points and in third position is Goderich FC with 5 points while Walsall lead the table with maximum points from 3 matches.
