One of Sierra Leone’s renown Division II football sides, Sierra FC have resume training ahead of the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) Division Two playoff expected to start soon.
The Acting Technical Director of the club, Sam Ngobeh says the boys are determined to make sure they secure a spot in the Division One League, which is reason for a full turnout of the players during training.
“The turnout of the players for training is very impressive,” Sam Ngobeh noted, and he has encouraged the boys to be focused on their mission to qualify to play in the National Division One league next year.
The Chairman of Sierra FC, Ibrahim Conteh has also called on the boys said to take the qualification playoff matches very seriously, assuring them that when they qualify, there are going to be lots of opportunities for them to gravitate to the Premier League.
He enthused his boys to with the possibility of being Premier League players in the short run only if they are focused on their mission and they are determined to make it happen.
“Our core aim is to see this club and you the players in the Premier League; I think that must be your collective aim and you must work for that aim to be actualized,” Chairman Conteh spurred on the boys.
The Captain of the Team on behalf of his teammates said their resumption of training is a testament of their commitment and determination to qualify in the playoffs. He said as a team they have only one aim, and that aim is to qualify to the Division One League and assured the club officials and generous supporters/fans that they will achieve that aim.
